SCMN Pride Parade

SSouth Central MN Pride is hosting our third annual parade this year and invites everyone to participate.  There is no need to be fancy or have won a beauty contest in order to march with us!  You are welcome to make a float, march with signs, or dance in the street.  There is no cost to participate in the event.If you are an organization or group marching in the parade, please fill out our registration form for planning purposes. • When:  Saturday, September 13, 2008
• Where: Meet in the parking lot past the railroad tracks behind the corner of Riverfront Dr. and Rock St. in Mankato.
• Time:  Meet beginning at 9:30 am. Lineup will begin at 10:30 and the parade will step off promptly at 11:00. 
• Route:  Travel south on N. Riverfront from Rock Street to Main Street, ending at Reconciliation Park.  See map below for more details. 
• Parade Safety:   To enable a fun and safe parade, we ask for you stay within the lines/cones provided to the parade route. Balloons should be tightly secured and all debris picked up.  If you plan on distributing any items to Parade spectators, they must be handed out.  Please follow any directions given by parade security officers or volunteers.
